Hit Them Baby, One (more) Time..

I’m becoming a list-maniac you see… the book list, the wish list , the date-movie list and now… the hit list.. March was a terrible month for me, and I was soo pissed off at everyone and anyone.. People just kept throwing themselves on me, making me even more grumpier than ever. As usual in no particular order…

  • Airtel : Yes.. Definitely on my list. 90% of the tension I had was caused by you guys. The calls I made to customer care in March were more than the calls I made to my mom.. :/ And still my data card s not working. Whats even more worse is, their My Airtel app in my phone. Stooopid thing.. asks me to uninstall every time i try to recharge online.
  • The faceless, nameless guy next door : Excuse me Mr. There are people called neighbors living next to you. Be it dawn or midnight, we can always hear you yell at your poor wife. Our mornings are as unpleasant as your wife’s are.. I come to dry my towel, and I hear you shout Nayee (*dog) at her. I swear, M gonna call the uniform, one of these days..
  • Window-seat walas : Ummm.. if you really hate the wind on your hair, worried about your makeup getting spoiled, or being concerned about “Gosh!! pollution…”, don’t sit on a window seat. People (like me!!) who have car sickness exist still, and they have breathing difficulties sitting next to a highly-perfumed girl/boy and a closed window. You just lie back and plug in your earphones, unaware of the poor soul (again, me!!) next to you.. Atleast ask the person, whether he/she wants the window shut..
  • My Manager.. : Ofcourse he would be here… Managers are bound to be in the hit list of all their subordinates. You know, this guy lives to make me go crazy. He once told a colleague that I give a point blank stare whenever he asks me something.. Mind you, that was me being serious.. 😛 So the next time he asked me sthng I just smiled (i swear it was coool, polite smile) and replied him… Minutes later my spy returned to me and said, the idiot complained that I’m not taking whatever he said seriously. M fresh out of college, and I’m jus having fun itseems.. Gawwwddd… Back when there was no temple run or candy crush, there used to be these flash games, very popular ones.. I remember having a stress-buster one ‘Hit your Boss’. You can go clickety-click on the boss’s face, and hit him till he turns red 😀 I now truly understand the reason y they had such games..
  • Nosy aunties/husband-hunters : What is it with you people??? Is there a rule that you have to follow, that when you hit the 50+ age group, you MUST hunt good-u boys for the girls near you. Already there is enough boiling in my house, and these people are just bringing in more drama.. Anddd my mom, as if she doesn’t know I’m still in love, would ask these nosy aunties to advise me,throw some gyaan…
  • Pinterest, Facebook  & Femina: You sure are making me a biggg green-eyed monster. I’m so full of envy at the wonderful life everyone else is having..
  • Any guy and every guy who says he doesn’t want an IT girl for a wife : Oh bcos girls in software sleep with everybody it seems.. stupid male species.. Just shoot them, I say.

The world out there is having so much of problems, and to me these silly things are reason enough to kill people. Look at myself … I sure wanna kill me 😛

Cute, right??!!.. 😉

I wish! I wish! I wish!

There are a hell lot of things running through my mind.. And my only escape now is stress shopping… 😛

Or at least stress window shopping.. Coz i have a resolution to keep up.. Besides i just added two more bags to satiate my never-ending bag love anddd two new kurtis few days back when i went shopping..

There’s definitely something therapeutic about shopping, don’t ya think..? Here I am, bunking office (whats one more day off, when you’ve been away from the office since Thursday..?) and catching up with my favorite series, when all of a sudden, i wanna shop.. It took me some greattt control, to get over it, and mind i say, thats something awfully difficult? Coz last week i had bought a bamboo rack on an impulse.. just like that!! I had seen it on the way to office, and spoke just once about it to B, and he being all i-know-about-you, urged me to buy it (indirectly!!) And i did… Boy, how much i lovee it!! 4000 bucks well-spent, i keep telling myself.. 😛

So with a steel resolve, i buried myself in Pinterest, coz I will just ogle at everything (as opposed to adding everything to cart) and pin it to my “When you can’t buy it, pin it” board.. Anddd my cute, sweeeet adorable boyfriend would one day look at it by chance, and buy me all those stuff 😀 😀 just kidding…

I like stuff that don’t scream “Look at meee” but I’m not a plain Jane either. If i like it, I don’t care about the brand. And up until few years back i hated pink, girlie stuff. But now, i think I have new found love for many stuff.. Thanks to Pinterest, I’m still rediscovering a new me.. in many ways.. So bear with me, if you don’t like it. This is more like a wish list.. Someday!! Yes definitely someday..!!

I love these…. :-*

#2 The week’s best

On June 16th i decided to do a weekly post on things that caught my attention. Sadly that meme didn’t continue coz I came home, my sweet little niece took all of my time and all other personal drama took place. I hope to revive it, in an attempt to blog more. A month has gone by, and here i am with the list of things that occupied my week.

#1 Robin Cook’s Coma

I did mention before that i was stuck at home, right? I was desperately looking for something to pass time with, and I knew I hit the jackpot when I discovered Robin Cook’s first widely known best seller, Coma (1977) Comaand Vector(1999) in my sister’s place. I was doing my happy dance as if i discovered something from the 17th century. The books were pretty old, yellowed and smelled musty. I don’t know who had bought it, and there weren’t any dates or names on the book. I don’t know why i feel like holding on to a treasure, but i do love it. I’m trying to save the book from the little one’s hands, and read few pages only when she sleeps. I’m amazed by many mommy bloggers who manage to read, blog, work etc while handling a kid as well.

#2 Dexter is back!!!

The final season of Dexter has started and I miss the peacefulness of my old room while watching series. Again thanks to my niece, Dexter too has to wait.

#3 Pin of the week

I loved it ❤

P.S. Have you read those books? I know they are medical thrillers, but i find the medical jargon a little difficult..

Last week…

Being a newbie blogger, i think its a sin to abandon your blog.. ^_^

I tried posting from home, but u see that cute kid in the above pic.. she loves gadgets (like, big time LOVES!!) and if she sees anything remotely to having a screen (even a calculator) she MUST have it. And in a desperate attempt to save my laptop from her, i HAD to hide away from blog-o-sphere.. 😦

The hill station in that pic is Kodaikanal, an awesome alternative from hot hot Chennai.. But blame my bad luck, the weather was extremely cold for me (the kid roamed in adam nd eve costume, but me  wrapped in layers *sheepish grin*) and so we couldn’t go out. We stayed indoors and all i could click was the view from the window, that kept changing every minute coz of the mist…

I read some reviews for Bankster, and i bought it online  along with Judy Balan’s first book, Two fates, and 2 more books. On the way home, I started reading Two fates, and its soooo Funny so far… i luurrvee it!! And, oh yes, i finally finished The Krishna Key last week, and i’l review it in my next post. Nishita di of Nishita’s rants and raves is hosting a giveaway of one of my fav authors, Sophie Kinsella’s “The wedding night”, and this is gonna be the  first giveaway i’m participating. Hope luck is on my side >:)

Another kind blogger Reema Sahay, invited me for her giveaway, but unfortunately the rules are u have to like her Facebook page and i deactivated mine few weeks back 😦 I envy whoever gets that book 😛

Apart from playing with the kid and eating mom-made food, my days at home were literally glued to the pinterest app on my ipod (when my niece is busy not noticing what i have in my hand) ohhh i love Pinterest…

pinterest love

Pretty awesome it is… there was this panoramic camera ball i came across there. if you throw it in the air, it takes a pic out of its 36 cameras and you can view the panoramic pic in your computer.. B-)

Altogether my week was wonderful, apart from the little fight i had with mom.. I hope my tomorrow (Training!!!) starts well 🙂
