Day 6: Old madras

So I was wondering how not to give up on the blogathon and hitting head for a topic to write, while the husband didn’t bother and was switching channels with a bored look. All of a sudden he got all excited and upped the volume.. It was his all time fav AR Rahman number – Take it easy urvasi from the movie Kadhalan. He was brimming with happiness and that boyish excitement. His hands just moved animatedly pointing towards the TV screen showing all the old Madras spots that he had loved since childhood. Both of us are from the same town and we had always wanted to live in Madras. Our dream has come true after a reallllly long time.

To me this dream happened during school and I badly wanted to study in Anna university. But for him, that desire was mostly because of the above mentioned song. And come on, who doesn’t love the video.. Prabhu Deva’s movements, that transparent bus, the super duper lyrics and old Madras especially Madras university building .. Love😍

Happy birthday AR Rahman. Please give us songs like the good ol’ 90’s.. Linga songs were totally not u.. 😐 and ‘I’ doesn’t impress much..
